Acknowledging CBM in publications/presentations

When you give a presentation and/or publish an abstract or article, you must acknowledge CBM, both in your affiliation line and in the support section:

  • Your affiliation: As an example, if you are working in a Weill Cornell biochemistry laboratory, you would give your affiliation as something like "Department of Biochemistry, Weill Cornell Medical College and the Tri-Institutional Training Program in Computational Biology and Medicine".
  • Acknowledging support: In the acknowledgement section, you should acknowledge support from CBM (along with any other financial support from, e.g., your mentor). For example:
    • If you are not listed on the program's T32 training grant: "Support was provided by the Tri-Institutional Training Program in Computational Biology and Medicine."
    • If you are listed on the program's T32 training grant: "Support was provided by the Tri-Institutional Training Program in Computational Biology and Medicine (via NIH training grant 1T32GM083937)."
